Apparently I have been TAGGED!
I'm supposed to list 7 things that most people probably don't know about me, then tag 7 friends! Let the games begin!
Might I just say that I could have probably come up with this if I hadn't been put "on the spot." Haha. Also note to Jordan--that is funny that you said that in your number 4 because tonight at work I saw a picture of an owl and I was thinking what a beautiful bird it is and a powerful one at that, but that it is too bad we don't see them very often.

1). I have a shoe fetish! I love crazy shoes, especially pumps!
2). I can be quiet and shy around people. I have a bad habit of secretly putting myself inferior to everyone.
3) I love eyes! I think they can be the most beautiful physical feature of the human being and I am always amazed at the variety that is out there.
4). When I was younger I used to be big into sign language and Calligraphy.
5). I find the holocaust and Salem Witch trials to be the some of the most interesting parts of history. The mentality and sacrifices blow my mind. I would love to go to the Holocaust Museum and also visit Auschwitz.
6). I love swing! I love the jitterbug and the big band swing music! It makes me want to just get up and dance!
7). I have a tendency to stress my self out and I can be a real grump and meanie because of it. I came across this quote and sent it to my friends because I thought it made sense. Well several people sent it back to me with a hint hint after it. Haha. I am getting better at it. Here is the quote: Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
8)So I am adding another one. I HATE when people drink out of the milk carton! If I see somebody do it at my house I smack them over the head and say "Get a cup!" It has become an automatic reaction. When I was at Jake's house he grabbed the milk carton and took a drink. I smacked him and said,"Get a cup!" He just turned and said," Jessica, my house, my milk carton." I realized what I had done and just laughed!
I will probably add to this list as I think of the more unknown things about me.

GUESS WHO'S ENGAGED!

Emily Danielle Costea is engaged! She is getting married in May in the Washington DC Temple. Emily was kind enough to give me permission to post these pics. Yay! Congrats Nate and Em!!!

While driving along River Drive I decided to come back home and get my camera. The water and drive was just too pretty to not try to capture the moment. I came back and took these pictures. When I got back into my car my poor fingers were just numb! It was very cold, but so worth it. I was able to appreciate the beauty of Montana a little bit more!

Also the city put lights on the tenth street bridge. I thought it was really pretty so once again I went and got the camera.

Finally and a quick update.

Okay so I finally had some time to make a blog. Yay! I am excited to continue with this and hopefully I will be able to convince my friends to leave myspace etc and come make a blog as well. Otherwise it will probably just be to update you Jordan. I didn't know what all you have seen so I am posting pictures from Fall 2007 to now. Not much has currently taken place.. .. Here is an update on my pictures though:

Fall 2007-- For one of our dates Jake and I raked leaves for his grandma, my grandma, and Mom and Dad. Then we jumped in the leaves and took pictures! Afterwards we went to dinner.

October 2007--We had a costume party that Jake wanted to go to. I didn't have any costume ideas being that we decided to go two days before the party. Mom came up with the great idea of us going as Jack Skellington and Sally Doll from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Mom made our costumes and did a great job. That same night we agreed to go to a movie with a group of friends. We decided to go to the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D. We got weird looks from people passing by, but employees cheered us on. Jake informed them we were going to a costume party and that we were not hard core fans. haha. People kept pulling my hair thinking it was a wig. It was not. I just straightened it and then we colored it that red color.

November 2007--This year I didn't go to Billings for Thanksgiving. Instead I had Thanksgiving with the Vaughan side of the family. Katie did a fabulous job of getting everything ready and had the table decorated very nicely. We also got out Grandma's china. It was a good night. The rest of the family went to Billings but forgot Grandma Grace's famous pumpkin pies (which was fine with us who stayed here--heehee). When the family returned to Great Falls, Mom and Dad decided to rub it in more by having us take a family portrait of all of us with our slices of pumpkin pie!

December 2007-- We had a Hi-Line Christmas work party that we attended. When the employees decided to go bar hopping afterwards we (Barrett, Ashley, Jake, and I) decided to go bowling instead. We did TERRIBLE! Jake beat us all and even though he had over 100 he was upset at how bad he was doing. We had a lot of fun!

For one of our dates Jake and I made gingerbread houses! Then we took them to people. This one went to his Grandma Carol. December 10th marked Ashley's twentieth birthday!!!
I also went up on Flag Hill to try to capture the traditional Christmas lights.

For our Christmas portrait we decided to do a sequel to the pumpkin pie family portrait, this time with eggnog!

I learned how to make these really cute NOEL photo books. I deferred from the original in the stamps I used and away from the traditional Christmas colors. I posted it because Aunt Katie wanted to see how mine turned out. I really like them!!
My reindeer on the bottom had red rhinestone noses

I worked on Christmas Eve and Christmas so I didn't get any pictures of the family traditional times. However I did get pictures of us opening up gifts. Grandma DiAnn decided she wanted pictures of us kids by the Christmas tree tallest to shortest. Unfortunately I kept getting pushed further and further down the line. However I think I am still slightly taller than Benny. We had a good Christmas and I got a CRICUT MACHINE!!!! Hooray!

January 2008-- New Year's Eve we decided to celebrate at Ashley's house (Barrett's girlfriend). The girls scrapbooked, while the boys watched movies and played Guitar Hero III. We pulled an overnighter, but a few didn't make it all night. . . the next morning we went to Jeff and Katie's house for breakfast burritos. Yum!!! After breakfast I went home, took a shower, and caught up on my sleep! At midnight I went to visit Jake because he was working. We took our New Year's picture. He then sent me back with a whole bunch of goodies to help bring in the New Year. I promise there was no drinking. It is just a Coors beer box that he put the stuff in.We got right up on that celebrating part!
After work Jake came over to join us!

Barrett on the other hand was not as festive! He reminded me of a little kid who pouts because he doesn't want to wear his Easter suit to church. Haha. This is one of my favorite pics.
After giving us lectures of how he was going to beat us if we fell asleep Barrett was the first to go at 3AM. Jake joined him for about fifteen minutes at 5:30AM
Ashley and I at 5:30AM showing that we are still scrappin' strong!
Ashley caves around 7AM
I was a trooper and took zero naps throughout the night. Jake stayed up with me and we watched Rush Hour 3, In Good Company, and Cinderella Man. I also scrapbooked.
We decided to take our decorations over to Jeff and Katie's the next morning. We told everyone they had to wear one of the hats or else no burritos. Our little party Pooper aka. Barrett pouted on the way there that he had to wear his headband.Parker loved his headband!
Dad always has to be unique in some way so he decided to practice for the Pioneer Trek by wearing his hott pink bonnett.
Who's excited for the NEW YEAR!!!!
While waiting for the burritos Barrett decided to tease Parker by playing with his truck. Here he is making his VROOOOM VROOOOM sounds. I guess you are never too old for that Tonka truck.
January 10th Jake and I went to the Rexburg Temple Open House. It was beautiful and was the first time Jake had been inside a temple. He was very impressed and it was a great experience for him. We also had Mom, Benjamin, and Jarom who came with us. Even though the roads were scary to drive due to the snow, I am so glad we went!

Jake doesn't look too happy in these next pictures---it was sooooooo cold! By this time our faces felt numb. Haha.

Afterwards we met with my cousin Deana and had dinner at Chilis. We came home that same night and got in town somewhere around 5AM.
