Yay for Jake!

On Friday, April 18, 2008 Jake was baptized. He was pretty camera shy at the beginning due to his brown hair and his lovely rug burn on his forehead, but within a little while he was there with all kinds of poses. It was a good meeting and I am so happy for him! The picture below is a picture of Jake with the sister missionaries who taught him (Sister Cheatum and Sister Adams) Okay there is a story with this picture. Jake and I have a picture together where he licked my face just as I took the picture. The picture shows his wet tongue up my cheek and me screaming, Mom and Dad got revenge for me. They actually did do it, but my camera took the pic too fast.

Antonio's fishing

Jake has a turtle or tortoise named Antonio. He eats goldfish. This was the first time I had ever seen him go for the kill! It was pretty funny actually.

A ride on Barrett's "Tasha"

Okay so Barrett got his crotchrocket while I was in Delaware. He has been trying to get me to go with him, but I have always had to work etc, so one day he asked if I wanted to go. I asked him about helmets and he told me he had Jake's in his car. Barrett and his toys

And off we went out on Belt Highway. Lots of fun!

When we came back we decided we weren't going to tell Jake, because I won't ride with Jake again until he gets somethings done first. Well as we pulled in who had his bike in the driveway. . . Jake. We were caught! I got off and jokingly thanked Jake for letting me use his helmet. haha. it was a lot of fun!

Mom and I went to Monarch to a scrapbooking retreat. This is what I came back to. haha.

A couple days later I helped the boys to try and fix their hair. Barrett needed to get the color out for work. Attempt #1 consisted of bleaching their hair.
They thought it was funny to act like I was hurting them.

So it didn't work quite like we wanted it to.

There was still pink in it so we had to turn to attempt #3--bicc

Jake left his hair that orange color and then he dyed it a brown color before his baptism.
