Okay whatever this thing is being gay. It isn't letting me move my pictures back into order, so please forgive it. Well I went to Delaware as a surprise to my friend Emily to help her plan for her wedding. Her fiancee and I set it up in January and we had kept it a secret from her til the end of March. So much fun! The picture above is a beautiful CTR ring that Jake bought me. I got it three days before my trip well while I was at TJ Friday's I put it next to the sink to wash my hands I left and not even two minutes later I remembered it and came back. It was gone! I felt so bad! Sorry Jake! The picture below was when we had a 2:30AM icecream craving!Thank goodness Walmart was open!

This is Angie! She was so much fun! The Saturday after I arrived (I was there from March 20-28) we had dinner with Angie and then we went to watch Spiderwick. We hit up TJ Fridays before that for dessert. Here she is at Em's surprise bridal shower.
Emily and her Mother

Emily and me
On Thursday we went to the beach. Nathan decided to model some of the clothing at the shop. It was pretty funny. Oh and I almost got hit by a car. I just kept walking and then noticed the car and screamed. Crazy crazy.

The truth is that water was soooooooo cold!
Thursday we went to Washington Dc. We were very impressed by the cherry blossom trees. Very pretty!

The Washington Monument

Standing by the reflecting pool and some of the memorials

This woman Irene Gut Opdyke (picture also borrowed from the internet) lived with a Nazi officer. She hid jews in this man's own home. If he stayed upstairs she would keep them downstairs and visa versa. One day he came home early and she was caught. She became his mistress in order for him to keep her secret. There is one room in the museum dedicated to the rescuers. What sacrifice and strength. One man said something to the fact of "I didn't do anything spectacular, I just did what everyone should have done.
As you left the museum etched in the wall was the saying YOU ARE OUR WITNESSES. It struck me that we are then accountable for what we have just seen and it is our responsibility to make sure history isn't repeated. A very neat experience!

The Washington DC temple
Emily's ring. On Thursday night when we went to bed Emily pulled back the covers to find this in her side of the bed. She is very scared of spiders and well Nathan knows that so he planted her yet another surprise.
Friday Emily burned Nate's toast.
My packing! Might I draw your attention to the cute polka dot shoes on top there. They were new on this trip! Yay!
When I got into Billings we went bowling that next day!

The highlight for me was the HOlocaust Memorial Museum. What an experience! They did a great job in making the museum have an impact on you. THere were a couple things that stood out to me. First this photo of a young girl before the Final Solution. I borrowed this picture off the internet because you weren't allowed to take pictures in the museum. I just think it is such a beautiful photograph.

Here are the other pics to the icecream craving

And here are the culprits who planned the surprise visit for Em! Nate picked me up from the airport and we went to surprise Em. She screamed and ran towards me, knocked my earring out of my ear and then she just started crying. It was so much fun! We have it recorded so if Nathan is able to send it to me I will post it!

On the coldest day, Sister Costea wanted us to go on a picnic. It actuallywas a lot of fun!

A few fun sayings with lots of memories:
