It was snowing when I was leaving work. I didn’t notice until after the hospital was going to sleep and I was filling water pitchers in patients’ rooms. One patient always has his blinds up through out the night. I was able to see the giant flakes dance their way to the parking lot. It was dark outside except for the street lights, but the snow just sparkled as I walked to my car. I love the snow! It may seem funny but it relaxes me. It makes me want to just wrap up in a blanket and drink hot cocoa with marshmallows! The snow brings a peace to my mind and it just seems to quiet the world that at times seems way too noisy. I love the snow and I love the detail and ornate beauty of the individual snowflake. What a joy it has been to have snow this year, I didn’t realize how much I truly missed it.
