BonsDIE tree

Okay Jake bought me this beautiful fifteen year old juniper Bonsai tree during the summer. I loved it and was all excited to take care of it and watch it grow. well it went from this lush green tree to the dried needles you can see up top. I don't know what I did wrong but somehow I killed the tree. Everybody had a good laugh. Jake asked me how my tree was and i told him, "It is okay." He laughed and said, "Yeah it is okay, just don't touch it or it will crumble." He also teased me, "It lived for fifteen years and you killed it in two months. That is quite the accomplishment." I was determined to revive the lifeless tree and when I read the book it pointed out that my tree was an outdoor tree. OOPs so outside it went. However that night we had our big pile of snow and I FORGOT THE TREE!! I brought it inside and couldn't help but laugh. Talk about neglect!

I finally decided the tree wasn't worth saving. It was past dead and there was no bringing it back. I got this awesome little tree instead off of EBAY and it fits beautifully. It is a metal photo frame. You clip the pictures to the ends of the branches. I will have to fill in where the dirt and water used to sit, but even though Jake calls it cheating I told him everytime I see it it makes me smile. I am glad he is forgiving of me killing his gift.
