Number 21

It was mine and Barrett's birthday on the 29th of January. Before the question is asked--no I didn't go drinking or have any drinks for my birthday. Above is a picture of Mom and her twins (Dad was in Seattle). Okay I worked on my birthday and they bought me a cake and a card which was extremely nice of them. Then we ended up being over staffed so I came home early.

Grandma DiAnn sang me two birthday song:

At 11:57 January 28
Happy Birthday to you in three more minutes
Happy Birthday to you in three more minutes
Happy Birthday Dear Jessi now in two minutes
Happy Birthday to you!

On January 29
Happy Happy Birthday Jessi Dear
Happy Days will come to you all year
hm hm hm hm hm (she forgot the words)
A happy happy birthday to you from me

Her messages definitely brightened my day! When I came home from work we waited for Barrett to come home for eclair cake. Mom had to go to bed early so she sang me a private happy birthday song and went to bed. Dad had to pack for his Seattle trip. Barrett finally came home and went straight to bed. So dad cut the cake so we could have it. I pretended to be upset and sang a pity me version of happy birthday to myself. Benny and I found it funny. Jarom asked why I was pretending to cry so we started singing it's my birthday and I will cry if I want to. The eclair cake was very yummy!

Friday I met up with Esther at Penny's Gourmet to Go and had lunch with her. It was fun to visit with her and she was kind enough to pay for me since it was my birthday. I had the smoked cheddar and ham on sourdough sandwich. The gay part of the story is that we were two minutes late getting out of the diner and got a parking ticket! My first one ever--stupid thing! Happy Bday to me again jk Thank you Esther for a great lunch!

That night Grandma and Grandpa took us to JBs for dinner. I had clam chowder, a salad, and chicken strips and chocolate milk. The soup was really good. Jake was making fun of me. He calls me a nibbler because he thinks I don't eat much. I was really full and told him that he would have to roll me out of the restaurant. He was all, "Don't even give me that." Grandma and Grandpa were doing a "neighbor" policy. THey said that they figured since they treat their neighbors better than eachother, they were going to treat eachother like their neighbors. Haha.
Jake couldn't seem to open his eyes for any of the pics we took at the restaurant. I am glad he could join us though. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for dinner! Thanks Mom and Jarom for joining us!! Love you guys!
On the way home I got Birthday kisses.

I was making fun of a picture that Jake had taken of himself. He showed all his "bling" and so I wanted to show my shoes.
On Sunday we had family dinner at Jeff and Katies so we got to pick our meal. Barrett and I wanted Mom's turkey enchiladas again. They are so good! Grandma and Grandpa were in charge of dessert and they chose banana splits which were really good too! Thank you Mom for making our cakes on our birthday and for making dinner! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the yummy icecream!
Benny got me these awesome shoes! I absolutely love them!!! Thank you Benny you rock!

I got this shirt to go with my shoes. I took a pic on my phone to get a vote of whether or not it would work. Well let me tell you Grandma hates it. haha. She cannot stand the back even though there is a tank top underneath so the shirt isn't low cut or revealing. Haha. She makes me laugh.

Aunt Tara made me a very cute card and gave me some scrapping embellishments! Yay! Thanks Tara!

Grandma Grace obviously knows me well enough to know I am always cold. She bought me this really nice heating throw! It is so pretty in colors and she also gave me a sweet card! Love you Grandma and I appreciate my gift!

Esther made this pretty card for me! I love it! She also got me this candle that smells so good and the salt scrub which works wonders to get the dry skin off. Thank you Esther for all you did with lunch and the gifts! I appreciate it and sorry again for that stupid ticket!

Katy Marie and I haven't talked nor seen eachother in almost a year. She wished me a Happy Birthday and wanted to do some catching up so we went to Chilis! After waiting in line we got a booth. While gabbing away Katy saw her parents and invited them to join us. They were out for their Valentine's Day dinner. We had a fun time. Katy and I both ordered the buffalo chicken salad which was really good (I omitted the bleu cheese crumbles and bacon)!
Katy's mom finished her drink to find this bottle cap in the bottom of her glass. THe waitress replaced the drink and gave it to her for free. We laughed because it is a rootbeer bottle cap, but Katy thought it was a strawberry.
Katy Marie and Me. When we left it was full of sleet outside. Pretty cold. Thank you Katy for the great time of catching up and laughing.
Thank you to everybody who also sent Birthday wishes! I appreciate you all thinking of me and helping to make my birthday a special one!!

Jessica! I can't believe that you are already 21! It makes me feel so old! LoL-but it looks like you had lots of fun and you got some pretty sweet shoes. I have to say that I am jealous! And the cards are super cute! I wish that I was crafty and could make handmade cards like that. Hope you have a great weekend, hun!
